Shane McGuinness emailed these photos to us after he spotted this Beetle recently.
“I spotted this 1975 Beetle at the National Steam Preservation Show in Stradbally, Co. Laois at the weekend (6th August 2023). I don’t think it’s on the Beetle.ie Census. First registered in Waterford I think, could be wrong.”
You’re spot on with both the year and the county. This Senegal Red (L31A) 1200 Beetle Deluxe was registered in Waterford in July 1975. Thanks Shane for taking the time to not only take the photos but to also email them to us.
