Look away if you’re squeamish!
This poor old 1966 was long past its best and definitely not destined for the restoration corner of any bodyshop. It was at least still able to offer up some parts to help keep other Beetles on the road.
It may not look like it but this County Limerick registered Beetle rolled off the assembly line in Dublin as a 1300 Beetle Deluxe. It must have looked gorgeous with its Black (L41) paint, chrome and of course, it had the perfect interior colour of red to complement the Black paint.
