Model information

1300 Beetle Deluxe

Info

The eagle eyed amongst you will see that this Beetle does not look like a 1970 1300 model and you would be somewhat correct as this 1970 chassis now carries a newer Mexican Beetle body around the roads of Wicklow. The previous body from 1970 was beyond economical repair when it was restored by Emilio’s Beetles so the lucky owner is one of only a few to be able to say they have the most up to date body on their old chassis. The Beetle also features the fuel injected engine from the Mexican Beetle so this really is the best of new and old combined. If you’ve never been in a beetle powered by the more modern Mexican fuel injected engine then I recommend you get yourself behind the wheel of one as soon as possible and you will see what I mean. The instant response when you turn the key and the fuel injection means this Beetle will not only start when you ask it to but it will perform in the same responsive way time after time after time. Now, can you say that about your old Beetle? I know I can’t!

This Beetle is a regular at shows all over Ireland so check it out & talk to the enthusiastic owner about his classic Beetle with a fuel injected sting in its tail.
