Model information
1200 Beetle Deluxe
Info
The main photo was taken by myself in Tramore, County Waterford back in or around 1993 at a Southern Volks Folks Club run. This 1975 Beetle was parked in the display and although only partially in a shot, it is worth adding it to the Beetle.ie Census as the same car, albeit a very different looking Beetle now, appeared online recently. The current photo shows it as a blue Beetle with older wings added, the towel rails are gone but new blade bumpers are in their place. The side windows are not visible in the current photo so I can’t see if the old Southern Volks Folks and Martin Murray’s Eirespares stickers have survived or not, but it would be nice if they did. Still, stickers or no stickers, it’s great to see it surviving to this day, almost thirty years later. The current photo was taken by Laois Recovery Services.
