Anniversary Beetle and Special Edition

There aren’t too many of these Anniversary Beetles left and from what we can see, they weren’t produced in huge numbers either. Some left the factory with 1200cc engines and smooth engine lids whilst others left with 1300cc engines which meant a vented engine lid like this sorry example I picked up in Watergrasshill.
As you can see, MKI89 is way too far gone now but she will donate many of her parts to keep other Beetles alive and kicking. Glass, engine, gearbox, chassis, rubber mats and many more parts, all useful on other projects.
