Darren O’Rourke of the Original Irish Aircooled VW Facebook group is a great source of classic aircooled VWs and is always submitting photos. This particular one is the funniest one we’ve seen in a long time.
This multi-coloured Beetle was assembled in Dublin in August of 1969 and was first registered in Waterford in September ’69. Darren is not entirely sure when this Woodstock inspired paint job was applied but it certainly was going to stand out amongst a sea of standard looking cars!
