This distinctive looking 1972 Beetle bears a striking paint scheme! Seen here at the Limerick VW Show, 2004 at the Mungret GAA grounds. It was originally a UK-market 1200A-base spec Beetle, or “Sparkafer”. Imported into Ireland in 1978, it bears a period Kildare registration.
