Another Beetle spotted by Dermot Brosnan recently (April 2019) was this modified Beetle.
Registered on January 20th 1975 in the county of Kerry, it didn’t look anything like it does now but that’s the fun of old VWs isn’t it? It looks to have been dechromed, had earlier wings fitted and had one piece windows fitted to name just a few modifications. We’d love to know more about its past so if you know something about this Beetle’s history please do get in touch and help us fill in the blanks.
Sadly the poor old Beetle is rotten and Dermot said it’s a parts car and probably will never see the road again.
