Fred Dean’s photos have been featured here on the Beetle.ie Census before and will be featured in the future as Fred continues to submit VWs as he finds them. One such VW that Fred found was DFI 506 which he saw at the Youghal Vintage Rally at Farrell’s Bar in Youghal back in 2019, on May 26th to be exact.
The Tipperary North registered Beetle was assembled in Dublin and painted Black (L41) before being delivered to Spooner’s VW dealership from where it was sold in late 1962.
