Info
Back in January 2022 Patrick Lynch showed us these photos of a Beetle he just bought that very day. We’ll let Patrick take it from here; “I just bought this Beetle today. It was in a dry shed for over 30 years but it was left out for scrap when I spotted so I took the opportunity to buy it there and then. It may look bad but believe it or not, it has very little rust. It needs 2 wheels and the interior is gone so I need to find a full interior, so if anyone has one to suit, please get in touch.”
Thanks Patrick for getting in touch with Beetle.ie – when you get windows in we’ll send you some Beetle.ie window stickers showing that your Beetle is on the register!
We love these stories of recently found Beetles because it proves what we’ve been saying for years, that with just under 30 years of Beetle assembly in Ireland, there has to be so many still sitting in sheds, garages and barns, and just like Patrick’s new Beetle, they’re not all rotten. This June 1976 Donegal registered Beetle proves that there are still some gems out there.
