We received this photo recently but unfortunately we do not know who the photographer is and therefore cannot credit them.
It’s a super shot taken as fire engulfed a building on Henry Street in Limerick city. The Beetle is an early 1957 Oval Window Deluxe, finished in black (L41). It was more than likely sold from The Service Garage on Mulgrave Street in Limerick who were main Volkswagen dealers at the time.
