Another Beetle that didn’t make into the 1990s was 9645 ZL, an Irish assembled and Dublin registered 1200 Beetle Deluxe. Sadly this Beetle was too far gone to be saved so the garage broke it for parts. The number plate engine lid lives on, still attached to the engine lid and is now wall art in an enthusiast’s garage.
