Jubilee Beetle

This is a rarity on Irish shores. Photographed when it was for sale in 2008, this Special Edition Jubilee Beetle was built in Mexico and was only sold in the German, Austrian and Italian markets. At the time of viewing, it had incurred some damage to the right hand side in a traffic accident. I (Trev) decided against buying it at the time due to the damage but looking back on it now, it would have been an easy fix. Much easier than repairing rust as the car was virtually rust free.
Being a Special Edition Beetle, it had some extras that set it apart from the ordinary. These included a Golf GTI-style 4-button steering wheel, green tinted windows and the Lemmerz “GT” style sports steel wheels.
