What can we say that this sad photo doesn’t already tell? This 1971 Dublin registered Beetle will never hit the road again but perhaps it has already or may do in the future, donate some of its parts to keep another VW motoring. As you can see, it’s beyond economical repair having sat in a very damp location for many years. Maybe the 1300cc engine and gearbox will live on but the body won’t!
