The 2002 Limerick Classic Car Show which was held in Ballyneety, County Limerick that year was the location for this photo. The subject of the photo was this 1974 UK import 1303 Beetle which was registered in Wexford in 1986. The Beetle had seen some modifications from stock over the years such as the painting of the bumpers, the fitting of fibreglass wider wings and of course the Bay Window rear view mirrors. The Beetle had been repainted at some point so we’re not sure what specific colour was used, other than to say it’s red!
If my memory serves me well, 7937 ZR was for sale that day. Did it find a new home we wonder?
