This 1979 1303 Beetle Cabriolet calls County Limerick home now but it travelled to Ireland from the US before being restored by Emilio’s Beetles in 2016. At the same time the body was given a fresh new look when Emilio changed the colour from Florida Blue LA5A and painted it a striking mix of two-tone red and black. The original GT Beetle wheels were replaced with Lemmertz style rims which really give this Cabrio a fantastic look.
At Some point in its life the US spec cabriolet was converted to right hand drive. Emilio and his team removed the larger US impact bumpers as well as the larger wing mounted US spec indicators to give it a more European look.
