This is a funny one because it looks more like Dakota Beige (13A) which is a late 1970s shade but the reg says 1973 so it should be Kansas Beige (L91D). Either way, Beige on a Beetle was a very popular colour and it suited the shape really well. This Beetle has been around for a few years attending various classic car runs and shows. Photos have emerged on the Original Irish Aircooled Facebook page of it in 2005 but nothing recently sadly. Perhaps it’s in storage or being restored.
