Thanks to Dave Curran for submitting this photo of a 1974 Beetle that he photographed outside the Devon Inn on the Kerry Limerick border.
This Dublin registered Beetle has been restored and repainted in a non VW colour but it looks really well. The metallic green really sets it off as do the wider than normal stock rims.

*UPDATE 27/03/2019: Emilio has been in touch to say that he and his team restored this Beetle back in 2006 when the colour was changed from brown (probably Havana Brown) to Isuzu Spruce Green. It had been in the same family in Dublin up until 2014. Thanks for the info Emilio
