Nova Kit Car
Info
We want to say a huge thanks to Noah Ryan for submitting these photos of a Nova kitcar that his grandfather spotted in Rathgar recently. Judging by the photos, this kit car doesn’t look to have moved in quite some time.
Ironically, the Beetle that forms the basis for this conversion was also white. It was a 1200 Beetle that was assembled in Dublin and sold from Ballsbridge Motors in March of 1973. We’re not sure what happened after the first owner drove out the gates but at some stage as the Beetle aged, it was deemed suitable for a kit car conversion. The body was more than likely scrapped and the floorpan used to give stability to this fibreglass Nova.
Thanks again to Noah for taking the time to submit these cool photos.
