This entry comes thanks to both David Donnelly & Colman Madden. David posted the main photo on the Irish Vehicle Registrations Past & Present Facebook page and then Colman added his two photos as he recognised and remembered the very same Beetle from nearly 30 years previous.
According to David, this 1303 has not moved in 20 years as the owner has passed away. Colman’s photos go back about 30 years to the early 1990s with one being taken at the roadside in Wexford while David’s second photo was taken outside a large guesthouse in Glanmire in County Cork.
