“This was our first VW , it was a faded rusty light blue on U.K. plates when we bought it off a Canadian couple who had toured U.K., Scotland, Wales before touring Ireland and living here in Cork for 2 years.
In 1999
We restored and an old panel beater/ Sprayer in Blackpool Cork mixed original VW colours and brought it back to life .
We had a wonderful 1999 with it , went to loads of festivals in Ireland, took it on the ferry to Wales and toured Devon , Cornwall and Somerset and also went to the 1999 Glastonbury festival . Sold it in 2000 and last saw it at Campfest in Co Kerry painted black in 2015/16″
