This Beetle is owned by one of the club members in the Eircooled VW Club here in Ireland. He is selling his Beetle and if you are in the market for a very cool, driving Beetle, then look no further. I saw this Beetle in the metal at the Breakfast Roll in Loughmore, County Tipperary in 2025 and was very impressed. The VW Blue (L633) colour is always a great colour and brings the chrome alive. The below information is from the For Sales advert:
1969 blue VW Beetle in great condition
A left hand drive Beetle which turns heads everywhere she goes.
Underneath of the vehicle is an a very good condition, everything was undersealed and protected against rust a couple of months ago.
It’s got new brake lines, brakes hoses, brake cylinders and new brake master cylinder.
All 4 tyres are nearly new.
4 brand new door cards were fitted and the seats were resprayed.
A 3rd brake light was added which looks great.
The engine runs well, it’s was recently serviced with :
– new engine oil
– sump removed and oil strainer cleaned out
– new sump gaskets and nuts
– new sport air filter ( original one is still here)
– new fuel hoses and metal fuel filter
– new breather hose
– new heat hoses
– carburetor was rebuilt
A box of new parts are coming with the car at the right price:
– new door seals
– 2x new front spot lamps
– radio/USB/Bluetooth player with 4x speakers
– oil pressure, oil temperature and voltage gauges
The paint works is in good condition but it could do with a professional buffing.
Some rust bubbles here and there but nothing major.
The car is stored indoors at all times.
