Tony Groome’s photo from a classic car show that was held in St. Augustine’s in Blackrock, County Dublin way back in 1993. John O’Sullivan was able to add to the story by telling us that the show was organised by the Irish Jaguar and Daimler Club and was sponsored by Grange Motors.
This Beetle was an April 1967 Dublin registered Beetle, Irish assembled of course. The owner had customised their Beetle with a fibreglass Split Window kit, ragtop, a Monza 4 Tip exhaust with a modified rear valance as well as a full dechroming. Tombstone rear lights were added too.
