This 1973 1303 popped up on Facebook Marketplace and is for sale if anyone is interested. The 1303 has, as you can clearly see, spent a long time sitting in the owner’s barn so it really is a true barnfind. This 1303 is also a left hand drive model so it’s obviously not originally Irish, in fact, it was first registered in Dublin in April 1979 but we are not sure where it originally came from.
As for the condition, we don’t know anything other than what you can see in the photos but the seller has given this description: “1973 vw 1600 engine model 1303. All parts there plus extra wings and bonnet left hand drive.. 4500 euro or best offer.been in barn for over 30 years.”
