Trev added this Beetle to the Census and it’s one I remember from years gone. I remember seeing it after it was bought from its original owner or at least its long term owner near Limerick City many moons ago. It was then that it lost its original steel wheels and hubcap combo in favour of BRM replicas. The wings were also changed for pre-67 versions and the bumpers soon followed. It was an original paint car at the time so it was clearly very well minded all its life. We haven’t seen this Beetle for many years so we wonder what ever happened to it.
This is or possibly was, a 1973 Limerick County registered Beetle and assembled in Dublin as a Kasan Red (L30B) 1200 Beetle Deluxe.
