After a hibernation that lasted quite a few years, this 1300S was restored and slightly modified – the idea was to create something that a ‘driver’ would have spec’d from the factory back in 1973. As such, this 1300S is loaded with rare Kamei accessories and has a punchy 1835cc twin carbed motor pushing it along.
The car now wears custom GT Beetle stripes as well as a chromed GT Beetle badge to add to that 1970’s sportier look. Period correct ATS alloys have since been fitted. The windows are adorned with stickers from the many shows its been to since seeing the light of day again back in 1995.
