I think I’d be correct in assuming this Beetle will not hit the road again!
It’s a shame really as this was once a rare Anniversary Beetle complete with highback seats, heated rear window and a dash plaque celebrating the 20 Millionth VW built that would have been mounted to the glovebox door.
Apart from the glass and the 1300 badge on the engine lid there is very little that can be salvaged so it’s best to leave this April/May 1972 Dublin registered Beetle dissolve back into the earth!
