The setting up of a show is the best. Owners of freshly restored VWs convoy into the showgrounds, open up their doors, prepare their display, polish their VW and then, from nowhere something unexpected drives in and steals their thunder. That showground was the 2010 Limerick Show and that something was this well worn commercial VW.
Why? Simple. Just look at it. This late 1978 Limerick County registered Single Cab Pickup just oozes character. You want to know its history, where was it worked and how did it survive all these years. People love the simplicity and ruggedness of a Type 2 Single Cab, especially one that has clearly been used for its intended purpose.
