Roger O’Sullivan added this Beetle to the Beetle.ie Census recently after he found the old photo in his archives. The Beetle is a 1976 Dublin registered Beetle. It’s a 1200N or Base Model Beetle so had little to nothing in terms of high end (for a Beetle!) trim such as a full headliner, padded dashboard, chrome bumpers, hubcaps, window trim, full flow air and more but you get the idea, this was a basic model. That didn’t stop the owner adding a little bit of aesthetic oomph to the Phoenix Red (L32K) Beetle by fitting a Kamei front spoiler, front spotlights, aftermarket highback seats and a set of Cosmic alloy wheels.
