I had Herbie for a couple of years and had to sell him on as it was just too much work at the time. I’d love to know if he was ever restored to his former glory and whether he still rides again!!

10/09/19: We have an answer to our question and it came from Emilio himself. “This beetle was bought but the body was too far gone to be saved so was scrapped. However the chassis and running gear resides in Emilio’s Beetles and is waiting its turn on the operating table where it will completely restored with a new bodyshell at some stage”
