Beach Buggy and SWB Beach Buggy

26-06-2018: This cool looking short wheel base (SWB) Beach Buggy was seen at the Trim Classic Car Show in 2001. It’s based on the underpinnings of a late 1966 Cavan registered 1200 Beetle. No doubt the wheezy 1200cc engine is long gone and judging by the exhaust, it’s easy to see that there’s something more than a 1200cc motor out the back!
UPDATE 16-05-2020: We have found some more photos in the Beetle.ie archive that we took of this Buggy at the 2000 Mosney Classic Car Show. This is a Buggy we’d love to get the keys to because it looks like so much fun. Well done to the builder/owner, it’s a fun looking Beach Buggy!
