1300 Beetle Deluxe

This 1969 VW 1300 Beetle Deluxe was imported into Ireland and was first registered in County Sligo. It was then sold to an owner in Galway, and it was this owner that brought IEI 806 along to the Beetles Reunion in Limerick in 1993, where these photos were taken.
It was, and still is, a beautiful Beetle with a steel sliding sunroof and immaculately restored bodywork in Diamond Blue (L50B). I say ‘is’ because this Beetle has turned up at a number of events in the last few years and was photographed (attached) by Eamon O’Grady.
