Thanks to the person who emailed this photo to the Beetle.ie Census. I misplaced your name but you know who you are so thank you.
This 1200 Beetle Deluxe was assembled in Dublin and then sent to Limerick to be sold. We’re not sure what dealer it went to but we would imagine it was Frank Hogan’s dealership in Limerick City. 882 DIU is a September 1976 issue to Limerick County. From the excellent condition of the Beetle, it looks like this Volkswagen was relatively new at the time this photo was taken.
