Here’s a nice 1972 Beetle that was sent in to us recently. It’s nice, not only because it has been restored but it’s also had some subtle modifications such as the colour change to Land Rover Beige, the earlier bumpers, the wider steel rims and the wood rimmed steering wheel.
First registered in Dublin back in September of 1972 and lived in the South Side of Dublin for many years. In fact, it was lying up in the last owner’s house for a number of years before being restored by Emilio’s Beetles in 2019. The new owner loves their Beetle and ironically it lives just around the corner form the previous owner!
EDIT 16/12/19: This Beetle was one of the 300 Special Edition ‘Marathon’ Beetles. Obviously over the years it has lost its wheels and the dash plaque but it’s nice to see it has survived.
