Early Bay and Type 2 Bay Window Panel Van

In early January this rather neglected Early Bay Window Panel Van popped up on our screens and every VW enthusiast went wild to try and buy it. As you can imagine, it didn’t hang around too long and was sold within minutes of hitting the internet. Who got it? That’s the mystery but we wish them well on their restoration.
We don’t know the history of this Bay Window Panel Van but what we can surmise is that it is a UK import, imported into Ireland in late 1973 or early 1974 because this was registered in Dublin in early 1974.
