Old VWs have a reputation for grabbing our attention and pulling us in. That may be because of their back story, how they look or maybe it’s because they have a personality or a quirky nature (i.e. they brake down a lot!) And then it’s something simple like a really cool registration number such as on this 1971 Beetle.
Easy numbers like ‘1000’, ‘222’ or even a single ‘1’ always stand out no matter what car they’re on so when we saw 6000 ZA on a classic black background with silver raised digits we wanted to know more.
Currently awaiting restoration at Emilio’s Beetles, we’re looking forward to seeing this Beetle back on the road very soon.
